Greek 251, along with its companion course Greek 250, is the pay-off for completing Greek 110 and 111. The 200-level Greek sequence is designed to develop your proficiency with the Greek language, including grammar and vocabulary, while delving into the content and context of the texts of the New Testament. In these two courses you will spend your time reading the New Testament in Greek, discussing what you are reading, investigating aspects of the text that catch your interest, and trying your hand at translating the text into English. Greek 251 focuses on the synoptic gospels: Mark, Matthew, and Luke.
